ABOUT H2O2

Products     Home

H202 is the chemical formula for hydrogen dioxide (also called hydrogen peroxide). It is water with an extra loosely attached oxygen molecule. It is a naturally occurring substance in nature that has awesome benefits. By now you have heard of ozone, the layer of oxygen that surrounds our atmosphere. Ozone is O3. Simply put, ozone has 3 oxygen molecules.

Ozone is heavier than pure oxygen (O2). When weather conditions bring about rain, the rain droplets hit the ozone dropping off an extra oxygen molecule that then loosely attaches to the rain droplet. The rain droplets hit the ground as H2O2, supercharging the earth with extra oxygen. Have you noticed how the air is so fresh during and after a rain? You don’t get that same benefit from water fountains and sprinklers. Have you noticed how your gardens, lawn and trees seem a little greener than usual after the rain? That is the extra oxygen molecule. People who collect and use rainwater can attest to the benefits of the extra oxygen molecule.

Rain water and snow contain a small percentage of H2O2 that works as disinfectants to our streams, rivers, lakes and oceans. Plants enjoy this extra oxygen molecule and grow faster, larger and greener.

Try it yourself. Choose some house plants or something in your garden. Purchase food grade 35% hydrogen peroxide. (Why food grade? The other hydrogen peroxide at your pharmacy has inhibitors added to increase the shelf life by inhibiting the release of the extra oxygen molecule. Food grade H2O2 is consumable at low concentrations.) Now, dilute the hydrogen peroxide with water to a 3% concentration and water the plants. You will see amazing results.

H2O2 is also found in nature besides rainwater. It is found in high amounts in mother’s milk and is naturally produced by plant cells and animal cells as part of the mitochondrial respiratory chain process and in oxygenation and hydroxylation reactions in cells. Hydrogen peroxide is also released by blood platelets in the blood stream. The large intestine also produces and uses H2O2 to stop candida yeast from multiplying out of control. Even saliva contains a form of H2O2 to aid in digestion.

Normal healthy cells produce energy by oxidizing glucose (sugar), while unhealthy, cancerous cells ferment glucose anaerobically (without oxygen), producing lactic acid. Fermentation produces only 1/6 of the energy that oxidation does. Because of this lack of oxygen to produce energy, cancer cells are starved for energy. They need sugar to provide the energy they need that a healthy cell would produce with oxygen. Healthy cells also produce an enzyme coating to protect them from cellular invasion by viruses and free radicals. Oxygen starved cells using fermentation do not produce enough of these enzymes to build up their cell walls, and thus are susceptible to attack. The immune system of humans produces H2O2 in T-cells and uses it to destroy bacteria, fungi and viruses, as well as to kill cancer cells.

As you can see, hydrogen dioxide is a naturally occurring substance of great benefit. in normal body function, in healing disease and maintaining a strong immune system.

Fruits and vegetables contain H2O2, some from rainwater and some from the process of photosynthesis. Alkalizing by eating fresh produce is a natural way to add some H2O2 to your body. Supplementing your water with 3% food grade hydrogen dioxide boosts the oxygen in your system, working with the many benefits of alkalizing,

H2O2 can be consumed in small concentrations and offers the body an added boost of oxygen power safely and efficiently. Diseased cells, especially cancerous cells, hate oxygen. They thrive on sugar and lack of oxygen. Supercharging your body with added oxygen will supercharge the body. Combine this with alkalizing your body and you have a one - two punch against decay and disease.

Uses For Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide

Cleaning Fruits and Vegetables: Add ¼ cup 3% H2O2 to a full sink of cold water. Soak fruits and vegetables 20 to 30 minutes (drain, dry and refrigerate) or spray fruits and vegetables with a solution of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Let stand for a few minutes, then rinse and dry. (E-coli cleaner)

Marinade: Place meat, fish or poultry in a casserole (avoid using aluminum pans). Cover with a dilute solution of equal parts of water and 3% H2O2. Place loosely covered in refrigerator for 1/2 hour. Rinse and cook.

Kitchen: Keep a spray bottle of 3% hydrogen peroxide in the kitchen. Use it to clean and disinfect counter tops and appliances.

Dishwasher: Also add 2 oz. of 3% hydrogen peroxide to your wash cycle.

Insecticide Spray: Mix 8 oz. black strap molasses or white sugar, and 8 oz. 3% hydrogen peroxide in 1 gallon of water.

Washing/Laundry: Add 8 oz. of 3% to your wash in place of bleaches.

Shower: Keep a spray bottle of 3% hydrogen peroxide in the shower. Spray your body after washing. Avoid the eyes, eyebrows and hair.

Bathing: Use about 2 quarts 3% hydrogen peroxide to a tub of warm water. Soak at least 1/2 hour. Add hot water to maintain temperature.

Facial: Use 3% on a cotton ball as a facial freshener after washing. Keep away from eyes and eyebrows.

Foot Soak: Soak feet in warm 3% H2O2 until condition is improved.

Mouthwash: Use 3% H2O2. Add a dash of liquid chlorophyll for flavoring if desired.

Toothpaste: Use baking soda and add enough 3% H2O2 to make a paste or dip your brush in 3% H2O2 and brush. Hydrogen peroxide dissolves dental plaque, creates healthy gums, and whitens teeth. Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide makes the best toothpaste.

Cool Mist Vaporizor: Add 12 oz. of 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide or up to 4 oz. of 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide to one gallon of water. Emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer, bronchitis, pneumonia, etc., usually gets better using a cool mist vaporizer filled with a hydrogen peroxide mixture.

Douche: Add 6 tablespoons of 3% H2O2 to a quart of warm distilled water.

Colonic: Add 1 cup (8 oz.) 3% H2O2 to 5 gallons warm water. (Do not exceed this amount)

Enema: Add 1 tablespoon of 3% H2O2 to a quart of warm distilled water.

Seed Sprouting: Add 1 oz. 3% hydrogen peroxide to 1 pint of water and soak the seeds overnight. Add the same amount of hydrogen peroxide each time you rinse the seeds.

House and garden plants: Put 1 oz. 3% hydrogen peroxide in 1 quart of water. Water or mist plants.

Gardening with Hydrogen Peroxide: Gardeners and hydroponics implementers have professed the use of Hydrogen Peroxide in their watering solutions. Spontaneous decomposition releases oxygen to the plant's roots to enhance root development and prevent root rot, due to lack of oxygen. Many farmers have been increasing crop yields by spraying diluted hydrogen peroxide (20 gallons of water mixed with 5 to 16 ounces of 35% hydrogen peroxide, per acre). Water house plants by adding 1 ounce of 3% hydrogen peroxide or 16 drops of 35% hydrogen peroxide to every quart of water you give your plants. Hydrogen peroxide is an excellent and safe insecticide. Spray your plants with 8 ounces of 3% hydrogen peroxide mixed with 8 ounces of white sugar and one gallon of water.

Livestock & Farm Animals: Adding 8 to 10 oz. of food grade hydrogen peroxide to 1000 gallons of animal’s feeding water has been shown to increase milk production volume with higher butterfat, increase egg production, produce larger and leaner pork, poultry and beef with less feed, and to decrease the need for antibiotics.

You need to take precautions when using hydrogen peroxide. It is concentrated oxygen. The bubbling you see when H2O2 is applied to a surface is the oxygen reacting. It is very powerful. You should not use H2O2 in its concentrated form, but should dilute it to about 3%, especially for internal consumption.
